Where support goes
MotherHelp keeps donations, campaign totals and assistance releases traceable.
Current assistance allocation policy
After recorded payment-provider fees, MotherHelp currently targets 87.5% for beneficiary assistance, 5% for community-agent field support (transport, mobile data, time and verified follow-up; subject to a UGX 150,000 cap), and 7.5% for MotherHelp operations including verification, technology, management, worker costs, monitoring and accountability. Donor tips are separate from case funds and are additional support for MotherHelp operations. If an agent voluntarily waives the field-support reward before fundraising begins, the actual calculated reward is reallocated to beneficiary assistance.
This is a platform policy target, not a statutory fee. Actual payment-provider charges are tracked separately.
Accountability principles
- Donors do not need an account.
- Only successful payments increase public campaign totals.
- Payment and donation records remain separate and traceable. Settlement preparation, independent approval, provider release and beneficiary receipt confirmation are recorded as administrator actions.
- Case evidence is private; public pages show only appropriate verification information.
- Public case updates can explain what support achieved.
- Anyone can request a review of a public case.
